Though the images in this video/photo montage are of Elvis Presley the song, and in many ways seems legitimate meaning Elvis sang/recorded it, is not. But it is a wonderful song and, in various aspects, it sure sounds like a beautiful song I would have loved for Elvis to have recorded (note: this song was written decades after Elvis’ death).

/ June 28, 2018Thank you for answering my curiosity about whether this was Elvis’ recording. Just listening to it, I could tell it was not Elvis’ voice. There are certain characteristics and instances where I believe Elvis would have sung his heart out and not be so constrained. Can You tell me who recorded this particular soundtrack for the video? I know it wasn’t Chris Morgan.

I’m 78 years old same age as Priscilla and probably one of his oldest fan, I had never heard Elvis sing this song “I want us back” I found out that Craig Morgan born 1964 wrote the lyrics and when Elvis passed away in 1977 the lyrics weren’t written yet. So if it wasnt Elvis singing it Can someone tell me who sang it then?
